The majority of Nantucket's visitors arrive on a boat of some kind and then focus on beaches, shops, bars and restaurants. OK, hit the Nantucket Whaling Museum to make yourself feel better... The lucky few have access to boats to further explore the harbors, shoals and rips for world class sailing and fishing. Nantucket has pretty consistent breeze in excess of ten knots on most days. You're going to learn fast and you're going to get wet, but you'll come back to shore with a big smile and a new passion.
